On peut aussi écrire votre histoire.
Jim, Michel and Fränk are the kind of young enthusiasts whose story we like to tell. In love with their country, the land and aperitif drinks, they did not hesitate for long before jumping into the entrepreneurial pool. 6 years after the launch of their first Gin, they have created a series of products: liqueur, eau-de-vie, pastis and Spritz. They have succeeded in turning their passion into a full-time job. Focus on a great success story.

Opyos Beverages is the story of three friends, three enthusiasts. United by their love of their country, their land, but also of a good drink during an aperitif. It was in 2016 that Jim, Michel and Fränk began to simmer. They studied the distillery market in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg and began to dream: "why not us? "In terms of local alcohol, there were a lot of exceptional products already on the market. We also wanted to produce a quality, top-of-the-range aperitif, but we had to do something different. That's when the idea of Gin came up. We launched our Dry Gin in 2016. We started with 350 bottles and they sold out in a fortnight," says Michel, one of the partners.

After such a success, the three fellow travellers did not want to stop there. They saw further ahead. Much further. "We imagined other types of Gin. And then we started to produce pastis and liqueurs. Today we have 7 products and we want to expand the range even further. What will remain is the basis: we want each product we create to use a maximum of ingredients from Luxembourg. For example, for our Gin, 8 of the 27 ingredients come from here. For our coffee liqueur, we work with a Luxembourg roaster.  This local aspect is the heart of our brand.

Beyond the local aspect, the three young entrepreneurs make it a point of honour to make their product as complex as possible. "Like a good score that brings together the most beautiful instruments, we study the aromas and develop complex recipes," adds Michel.

From 350 bottles, they have gone to an annual production of 17,000 products sold. It's enough to make you dizzy, and above all, to put your feet back on the ground. "At the beginning, we thought we were managing Opyos as a hobby, a passion. It so happens that in December we all decided to leave our respective jobs to devote ourselves 100% to this activity. At no time do we regret having pursued this dream," concludes the entrepreneur.

A beautiful story, as we like to tell at Yellow. Because we want to help you live from your passion and share it.
