21-38, Rue de Crauthem L-3390 Peppange, Luxembourg
The Peppange museums are an illustration of rural life in years gone by.
Whether it's agriculture, transport, the working of metals or the skills and techniques of yesteryear, learn all about the arts and ways of life of the past at our museums.
Subjects such as working the land, sowing and harvesting, alternative medicine, schools, shoemaking and the carpentry workshop are presented to the visitor via 23 logically and clearly organised sections each dedicated to a specific topic. The house at he museum has been arranged and fitted out to demonstrate what accommodation would have been like in the 19th century.
The Horse-drawn Carriage museum is located just 200 metres from the Rural Museum. It has a collection of around 20 different horse-drawn carriages on display, including six from the Court of the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
