Presentation of the Competence Centre
The University of Luxembourg Competence Centre (ULCC) reinforces the transmission of university knowledge to the business world through continuing education, its mission being to support economic, social and cultural development and full employment. Partnerships with public and private institutions, as well as interactions with the professional world, enable it to :
- develop high quality certificates and training with the University's teachers and researchers, as well as experts from different sectors of activity,
- to organize large-scale MOOCs and trainings for university students or professionals ;
- to work on projects and studies related to the analysis and development of skills and the realization of training plans.
The trainings are aimed at individuals, employees, job seekers and professionals. The ULCC also offers the possibility to develop tailor-made training courses to companies which aim to develop the skills of their employees.
ULCC provides its learners with a solid expertise in pedagogical engineering, a demanding quality of university teaching, as well as efficient and modern learning platforms.
ULCC is particularly present in the sectors :
- health care
- legal
- financial
- information technology and computer science
- of digital learning
- The ULCC also manages two bachelors' degrees offered mainly to students from BTS courses.
The learner and his/her needs are at the heart of ULCC's pedagogical approach because acquiring new skills and, above all, never stopping learning are absolute priorities.
