Crèche la Jungle des Minots

La Jungle des Minots nursery is a private nursery which welcomes your children, aged from 2 months until they start school.

La Jungle des Minots is a family nursery with a qualified and professionally trained team which welcomes your children all year round, from 7am until 7pm. We focus on going outside to enjoy nature and outdoor activities.
Our focus is on learning, thriving and letting off steam while enjoying the joys which nature has to offer us.

We have a room especially for drama (with puppets) and relaxation with a reading corner. Each group meets twice a week to attend a show which has been carefully prepared by our educational team.

The houses are terraced and have two connecting doors. Each of them consists of a ground floor and another floor with 3 children's playrooms, dining rooms, bathrooms, dormitories, a psychomotricity room along with two large gardens which have a play area.

For each of the nurseries, we have 3 groups of children:

• babies from 2 months to 2 years old

• toddlers from 2 years old to 3 years old

• children from 3 years old to 4 years old

Available activities

Each week, the group's educational staff create an activity plan for their own group. The diverse activities chosen are displayed on a board at the entrance for each group. The staff organise games and activities which promote both learning and socialisation alongside relaxation and fun.

Through play and activities, children learn to respect others, communicate and develop their motor, sensory, social and emotional skills.

Examples of activities:

• musical activities

• psychomotor activities

• culinary activities

• artistic activities (manual activities, drawing)

• drama activities

All kinds of activities to develop the children's 5 senses.

Children can enjoy free play at a certain time of day so that they can give free rein to their imagination and build friendships with whoever they choose. These games promote communication, imitation, motor skills and independence.

Meals

Children are served a snack in the morning. At meal times, children wash their hands and sit down at table. Meals take place in a group setting, with a calm atmosphere. We provide balanced meals, adapted to the children's ages.

An afternoon snack is served at 4pm.

Outdoors

Going outdoors for activities outside the nursery is an important part of our concept. Our nurseries have gardens of varying sizes which have been adapted and are surrounded by a fence. If the weather is good enough, our groups try to make the most of these surroundings. It's important to include some time in the fresh air at least once a day, even if this is only possible for a short time.

Trips

Every year we organise trips, such as a day at the Parc Merveilleux, a visit to an educational farm..

We also celebrate Carnival, Easter, Halloween, St. Nicholas and organise a barbecue with parents in the summer.
