About Aéroport de Luxembourg - Lux-Airport

Thanks to the excellent connection between the airport and 7 major hubs (London Heathrow, Paris, Amsterdam, Frankfurt, Munich, Zurich, and Istanbul), passengers can access a wide range of destinations all over the world

The airport is served by 15 major airlines, among which Luxair, EasyJet, and KLM have a prominent place.

It is located 10 minutes from the city center, 20 minutes from the French and German borders, and 25 minutes from the Belgian border. Easy access to it is also supported by an effective public transportation network: several bus lines connect the bus to the city center and the surrounding area, and the Flibco shuttle service has been serving the three countries with which Luxembourg shares a border since the spring of 2015.

In functional terms, the terminal is equipped with 26 check-in counters, 18 gates, and 5 telescoping jetways. The airport possesses 7,500 parking places, approximately 4,000 of which are located in an underground car park consisting of four floors with a direct connection to the terminal. The parking fees vary according to the level of comfort and distance. The “M Economy” car park also offers parking fees of 5€ per day and 35€ per week.

Numerous services, as well as shops, restaurants, and car rental counters are available for travelers and visitors. Since 2016, commercial space has been completely overhauled and there are 13 brand new points of sale. The restaurant facilities consist of the first Starbucks in Luxembourg, an Oberweis restaurant, with an amazing view of the runway, an Oberweis shop, the self-service restaurant «Comptoir du Bon pays», three bars, one of which is located in the arrival hall at the first underground level (Lux Brewery), the second one in the Schengen boarding area (Moselier), and the third one in the non-Schengen zone (Petit Moselier), as well as a Panopolis take-away snack counter. In terms of shops, there are no less than two remodeled and modernized Press&Books shops, two Aelia Duty Free stores, and a new brand, «House of Delights», which focuses on specialty food items and regional products.

The airport facilities are complemented by a VIP lounge and a terminal for business travelers, visited by more than 10,000 passengers every year.

Its attractive and modern infrastructure, constant development, and high-quality services have allowed Luxembourg Airport to establish itself as the main point of arrival and departure by air in the broader region.
