Founded in 2007 by Dr Carlo Harpes, the company quickly developed into a reputed name for national and international information security. Its staff grew from 9 employees in 2012 to 16 employees in 2013. itrust is a dynamic young company always on the look out for new challenges in information security. It operates the first CSIRT (Computer Security Incidence Response Team) for the private sector in Luxembourg. The company is also certified in professional training by the “Ministère des classes moyennes et du tourisme” (Ministry of middle classes and tourism). itrust provides services in these four major branches:
Consultancy, innovation & assistance : itrust develops and implements security systems, provides assistance to the Head of IS, evaluates risks and provides safety advice to meet company aims.
Audit & Hacking : itrust evaluates the security level or conformity as a whole by conducting organisational and technical audits as well as physical and logical audits. It also carries out penetration tests or legal analysis, or malware analysis. These activities are performed by its hacking team.
Research & Development : itrust contributes, via national and international projects, to the elaboration of future security systems and develops tools to improve security levels in information systems for SMEs, large companies and critical infrastructures.
Training & awareness : itrust, organises a wide array of training programmes on information security (ISO2700x) for the acquisition of technical and organisational expertise at its Training Centre in Niederanven. Introductory training sessions and awareness campaigns on security policy is provided on customer sites.
