Metal-ceramic crowns

Metal-ceramic crowns are built on a frame made of precious or non-precious metal. This structure was carefully designed with the support necessary to prevent any fracture or cracking of the porcelain. Made of fluorapatite and leucite, IPS d.sign porcelain by Ivoclar Vivadent has an abrasive behavior similar to natural enamel. Also, it has optical properties that allow the crown to have an aesthetic and natural result.

Fixed pure ceramic dental prosthetics, cross-screws, crowns and bridges

Fixed dental prosthetics is a rather large fiend in that you can have dental prosthetics in different sizes made of just as many different materials. The Dental Art dental prosthetics laboratory makes fixed and cross-screwed prosthetics using precious or non-precious alloys that are always nickel-free.

We also make pure ceramic crowns and bridges

Molded dental crowns

All our dental prosthetics meet the strictest standards of the market, using the most effective and modern materials. We make zirconium crowns.

Zirconium is a biocompatible material offering high mechanical resistance. The material is very innovative in that it meets all types of indications: past and future, single and plural, small and wide range.

Manufacture of adjoining prosthetics

Our full and partial removable dental prosthetics are made using high quality materials that are among the best on the market. These materials are subject to the strictest standards. We have a wide selection of white Ivoclar-tinted resins as well as traditional and hypoallergenic pink, veined resins.

Depending on the dental prosthesis and the patient, our different teeth are selected to best meet your needs.

Metal adjoining dental prosthetics

Making a metal framework is a delicate science because it involves combining comfort and aesthetics for a removable dental prosthesis. We manage to do this thanks to our materials, our experience and our attention to detail.

Resin adjoining dental prosthetics

Whether partial or total, adjustments are always perfect, and the art of a good prosthetic resides in the balance of this adjustment in various movements.

Mouth guards

The effective protection against violent shocks during sports. Each type of sport has its own mouth guard.

Implants

After the surgical phase, the role our laboratory plays in the manufacturing of an implanted prosthetic is crucial. We have been making all prosthetic systems for more than 10 years. Our technicians are at the cutting edge of the technology, and are trained internationally in Sweden, Germany, Belgium and Luxembourg.

Our drills bits and wide array of attachments let you have a high-quality prosthesis made to your order. The choice of appropriate attachments and the design are very important when creating them.

This is how our technicians can help you make choices no matter the system used. Your implanted prosthetics will be made with the greatest attention. Bar implant

Our bar implants are made either using conventional techniques or with a Cad-Cam system. They are designed with precision, ensuring a more passive final product. We have also acquired a Cad-Cam Nobel Biocare system that lets us create any type of bar implants. They are then cast in titanium, a metal known for its biocompatibility, its high resistance and its light weight. Pillars

We offer a wide variety of pillar implants. They are made either using the traditional method or with a Cad-Cam system by Nobel Biocare. Whether they are made of titanium, gold or zirconium oxide, we can meet any of your needs.

CADCAM

The dentist will make an imprint of your individual dental situation as usual.

Using this imprint, our dental technician will form a positive model that will faithfully represent the patient’s dental situation.

This model is then scanned, either with a laser or a probe moving over the total surface of the model.

CAD is an abbreviation for “computer-aided design”: using the scanned data, the computer will create a digital file of the model in three dimensions. CAM is an abbreviation of “computer-aided manufacturing”. When the model is digitized, two solutions are available to the dental technician. She will either use software to virtually create the framework, or create the shape of the desired armature in wax. This “wax-up” will be scanned and transformed into digital data.

The data is then sent to the drill. Although the manufacturing unit is not in the lab, this data file is sent by email to the production site. The machine-tool, using a diamond bit, then drills the raw shape into the zirconium oxide to get the desired framework. Different sintering steps are still required to finalize the custom-made armature with precision of down to 10 microns.
