What is Ortho-Bionomy?
Ortho-Bionomy is a way of treating illness through movement. Physical pain and psychological disorders are treated by adopting certain postures specific to Ortho-Bionomy. These postures, when combined with specific manual manipulations, trigger the body's natural healing process, thereby strengthening the immune system.
How is Ortho-Bionomy carried out?
An Ortho-Bionomy session begins with an interview between the practitioner and the patient. The practitioner then acts as a guide during the practical stage. The practitioner helps the patient to locate the pain by adopting several postures in a standing or sitting position, or lying on a massage table. The treatment of pain is carried out through postures and movement, but also through specific massage on the nerve endings of the joints and muscles.
Ortho-Bionomy helps fight against nervous complaints such as anxiety, insomnia and stress, and also chronic fatigue. It also relieves muscle and joint pain. It helps the individual to better understand how the body and mind work, so that they can function better on a daily basis. Ortho-Bionomy strengthens the immune system and maintains fitness and health in human beings.
