Since 1936, four generations have been in charge of our coffee roasting. Our expertise is a family affair. Fabien, Catherine, Francois and Nicole Knopes continue roasting coffee using the traditional artisanal method.
With a passion for coffee that has remained intact, they continue the search for perfection and the selection of the best coffees worldwide.
Our coffees are freshly roasted in Luxembourg every Monday and Thursday. We celebrate their flavours and unique characteristics, which depend on their origin, botanical variety and method of processing (and many other factors).
In order to preserver their natural qualities, we strive to roast them slowly and delicately using our PROBAT UG22, a restored coffee roaster from the 1960s.
Because coffee is a fresh product of a fruit not harvested at the same time everywhere on the planet, our range of coffees changes throughout the year to offer only freshly harvested beans from farms and cooperatives that respect their employees and their environment.
