Grosbusch Academy

The training modules offered by Grosbusch Academy are based on the professional skills involved in the fruit and vegetable sector, ranging from production to distribution, via the catering professions.

Our modules have been designed based on the level 2 descriptors in reference to the European Qualifications Framework (EQF), indicating what levels of attainment are expected for a certification at this level. The trainers appointed by Grosbusch Academy are all certified by the Luxembourg Chamber of Commerce. They are committed to abiding by the profession's code of ethics, and in particular to respecting their obligations of discretion and confidentiality with regard to the information to which they will have access.

A trainee booklet summarising the main points will be given to each participant at the start of the course.

The assessment of the level of attainment in the course achieved by the trainees will be carried out by a multiple choice test at the end of the course. Participants are committed to participating in this assessment process.

In addition to a confirmation of participation in the course, a certificate of achievement will be awarded to trainees who achieve a mark higher or equal to 12/20 when responding to the multiple choice test.

Grosbusch Kids

The "Grosbusch Kids" concept involves inviting Luxembourg schoolchildren (between 8 and 11 years of age) to our premises at Ellange to raise the awareness of young people to the world of Fruit & Vegetables and to the importance of a healthy, well-balanced diet and the role of industry in the food sector.

We will give them a better understanding of the fruits and vegetables that they will come across in shops or on their plates, the seasonality of products and the importance of local production.

"Grosbusch Kids" offers several interactive media stations, an audio-visual auditorium, cookery workshops, blind tastings and lots of fun games.
