Our techniques

First of all, let us define osteopathy and physical therapy

  • Osteopathy

Osteopathy is a system of treatments based on techniques of manipulation, which focuses on the entire body structure (bones, muscles, joints and surrounding functions).

  • Physical Therapy

Physical therapist/masseurs provide rehabilitation of those afflicted with paralyses, neurological issues, road, work and sports accidents, respiratory, circulatory or rheumatism afflictions.
The techniques they use are based on massage and medical gymnastics.

Mr. and Mrs. Fenot offer different treatments depending on their activity.

In osteopathy, Gilles Fenot, offers several treatments:

- Mechanical joint treatment: This involves specific, gentle manual mobilization with respect to reduced joint movement as well as the constraints of pain.

- Visceral osteopathy: Treatment is based on spinal, visceral and energetic tests using pressure, stretching, succussion and vibration.

- Tissue: Some types of pain may be caused by a bone or tissue disorder. This is why it is necessary to locate it in every component by taking into consideration all hard to soft tissue.

- Skull osteopathy: This is done using gentle pressure and specific movements in order to restore harmony in the skull.

- Pregnancy and childbirth: Gentle techniques and balancing massages between the skull and the hips, techniques to free up tension due to childbirth or in utero positions.

Françoise Fenot also offers physical therapy treatments:

- The ABDO-MG concept: This involves rehabilitation of the abdomen based on breathing in order to restore an efficient, protective abdominal band.

- Endermology: This refers to an overall method of treatment developed to optimize the results of the LPG Technique, which is a technique that mobilizes lymphatic and blood liquids in statis, firming up loose or aging issue.

- Freeing Energy and Reflex Bypass (PLER): This may act efficiently by freeing up and re-harmonizing the circulation of energy and blood within the body. It helps to remove the appearance of internal disturbances on the skin.
