Helping people help themselves

At KYNOS, the world of dogs is not reinvented or operated under so-called “new” theories and methods. This is how KYNOS provides you, from the wealth of current opportunities, with the best possible variations on solutions to your personal dog problems.

We “help you to help yourselves,” meaning the ideas and incentives come from us, whereas the duration and intensity of the work are your own contributions as a dog owner.

KYNOS provides an honest and individual training of your dog based on modern ethnological findings. We specialize particularly in large breeds, hunting dogs, and dogs with behavioral problems.

The Dog as Companion

The role and image of the dog in our society has fundamentally changed in recent decades. “Man’s best friend” has taken on an ever-bigger significance as a social and life partner. However, one thing must be clear from the outset: a dog – at its most well adjusted and flexible – is and remains a dog. It has its own ego and does not “function” or “speak” like a person.

Dog and owner must grow together in the context of this understanding, and overcome the fine line between tolerance and authority together. On the one hand, the dog has a right to its own characteristics and needs. On the other hand, the human has the responsibility to help his/her four-legged friend settle in a rapidly changing world, adapt, and cope with its limits.

KYNOS – The School for Dogs and Humans

Humane training is our top priority. At KYNOS, your dog will learn more than the usual “sit, stay, shake.” It will learn the ABCs of good dog manners.

Motivation, praise, and clear guidelines from you, the enlightened owner, will make learning an unforgettable experience for both parties. The goal is a harmonious partnership – with a clear allocation of roles, mutual respect, tolerance, and care.

To do this, we work individually with you and your dog. Which methods work for your dog? Which methods work for you? Does your dog work well with you – and vice versa?
