Fund Management
The Carlisle Management Company as fund manager, has designed funds that provide the maximum possible return for the given level of risk. Carlisle's Life Settlement Funds invest in a mix of U.S. issued and regulated life insurance contracts, which are diversified by Life Settlement types, risk sectors, and sophisticated fund strategies.
Long Term Growth Fund
The Carlisle Long Term Growth Fund's strategy is to purchase carefully selected life insurance policies that are beyond the contestability period. The Fund seeks to build a large diversified portfolio across numerous sectors, including but not limited to carrier concentration, expected maturities, gender, age, medical impairment, geography and face value size. In order to properly implement a buy and hold strategy, the fund seeks to isolate mortality risk and build a large sample size.
The primary performance driver in the strategy is mortality, which creates an investment with very minimal correlation to any financial market. Since policies are held through maturity, the managers employ extremely detailed actuarial and financial analysis to ensure that policies purchased are modeled for longevity risk, as well as any other variables of the statistical profile.
